Compassion Funeral Livery Service, LLC started out as a vision in 2013 and became a reality in 2016.  Glen originally started, owned & operated Professionally Driven by Glen Private Driver Services in 2011 in Austin, Texas transporting clients Door to Door to and from airports in our Black Car and Limousine Service which grew into a large clientele base, when I saw the important need for a Livery Service dealing directly with the Funeral Home businesses in Austin and surrounding locations and supplying services directly to the General Public during my travels. The Livery Service grew out of the love of always wanting to become a Funeral Director, but I never completed that dream over the years.

 
After moving to Austin, Texas in 2008 from Ohio to be closer to our children and grandchildren, I became a Licensed Pre-Need Agent and started working with a local Funeral Home as a Pre-Need Family Advisor and while holding that position I also assisted in daily duties/activities of the Funeral Home doing first calls, driving the family cars and coaches and working within the Funeral Home doing services and assisting families during their time of need.

Having over 30 years of Customer Service experience and dealing with customer’s one on one, I know what customers expect and deserve.  We are a family owned and operated company.  My lovely wife (Diana) of 36 years is also involved with the business when she finds time from her daily work schedule and being the best wife, grandmother, mother and mother-in-law of two (2) sons (Justin, Jason and daughter-in-law’s) and their families which exist of a total of three (3) grandsons, three (3) granddaughters and one (1) step-grandson that hopefully someday will continue to carry out this dream that I have visualized for so many years and now has become a reality of mine and my family’s life.

As Dr. Martin Luther King quoted and said in 1963, “I Have a Dream” and by the grace of God, 53 years later, my dream has come true for me personally for my family and this business.
